Today, I have a new nail polish shade from the Spring Collection from NARS. This shade looks gorgeous in the bottle, with purple and silver swirling together.

Here is yet another case where the nail color does not match the bottle color. It’s similar, but not really close, if that makes sense. Diamond Life is a medium to light silver lilac metallic. While the silver is pretty predominant in the bottle, it is pretty lost on the nail, but it is still there. The lilac is much more vibrant on the nail than in the bottle, where it is a deeper and more muted lilac. That being said, it isn’t a bad color… it’s just not what I was expecting. I didn’t experience any brush stroke problems, but that is something you do need to be careful with in metallic shades. NARS nail polishes are one of the few with these kinds of caps that actually does not slide off to feature and better cap. The cap you see is the cap you get basically.
